There's a much larger body of experience behind the work.
I'm April Gregory, a strategist, coach, facilitator, author, retreat leader, and transformation coach with more than two decades of professional experience.
My career has crossed marketing and brand strategy, entrepreneurship, coaching, leadership development, facilitation, transformational experiences, and energy-based work.
That range is intentional.
I have a long-standing habit of getting trained in the disciplines that will help me do the work in front of me better, and then putting what I learn to work.
For years, I was much better at using the training than telling people I had it.
This page changes that.
Because when you work with me, you're not working only with the part of my background that brought you here. You're benefiting from decades of experience, study, application, pattern recognition, client work, and continued professional development.
My professional career has included marketing, communications, sales, training, strategy, entrepreneurship, consulting, brand development, project leadership, and business development across multiple industries and environments.
After being downsized in February 2000, I began the entrepreneurial and consulting journey that ultimately became Wonder Woman Marketing.
Since then, I've worked with entrepreneurs, established experts, professionals, small businesses, organizations, and leadership teams to clarify ideas, develop brands, create marketing strategy, commercialize expertise, build intellectual property, and move important work from concept into the marketplace.
My experience has also crossed sectors including healthcare and life sciences, education, professional services, workforce and community initiatives, and entrepreneurial businesses.
And I've spent decades watching what happens between a good idea and a person's ability to actually bring it to life. That eventually took my work beyond strategy alone.
Why can someone know exactly what to do and still struggle to do it?
What happens when the opportunity has changed, but the person's identity hasn't caught up?
What happens when someone is intellectually ready for what's next but isn't yet able to fully inhabit it?
Those questions led me deeper into coaching, human development, identity, leadership, and transformational work.
My professional development includes coach training through the Gestalt International Study Center, where I studied within a Gestalt-based approach to coaching and human development.
Gestalt work strengthened something that continues to influence how I coach today: paying attention not only to what someone says they want, but to what is happening in the present moment, patterns, awareness, behavior, experience, and what becomes visible as we work.
I trained with Darla LeDoux in transformational coaching and leadership work and became a Certified Sourced Leader, Level 2.
My work in this community later expanded beyond being a participant. I served as a mentor coach, reviewing coaching work, observing retreat leadership, providing feedback, and helping developing practitioners strengthen their coaching and facilitation.
That experience sharpened not only my ability to coach, but my ability to observe coaching itself, to listen for what is happening beneath the conversation and distinguish between delivering information and facilitating transformation.
My retreat and transformational-facilitation training includes work with Darla LeDoux and the Shift the Field methodology.
I've trained not simply to stand in front of a room and teach, but to think about the architecture of a transformational experience:
What happens first?
What needs to be surfaced?
What needs to be experienced rather than explained?
Where does reflection belong?
Where does coaching belong?
How does the physical environment affect the experience?
What allows someone to leave differently than they arrived?
That training now informs the retreats and immersive experiences I design through April Gregory Coaching, Clearing & Retreats.
It also reflects something that has existed throughout my career. I don't only think about what people need to know. I think about how they need to encounter it.
I've worked with leadership teams, school districts, school administrators, teaching staff, professionals, and organizational teams, facilitating learning and professional-development experiences designed to move information into practical application.
Training and facilitation through Inscape Publishing, now part of Wiley.
Trained facilitator in the Adventures in Attitudes professional-development curriculum.
My earlier facilitation work also included professional-development topics such as learning styles, communication, behavior, and time management.
That work gave me years of experience standing in front of rooms, reading the room, translating complex ideas, facilitating discussion, and helping people recognize themselves inside the material, not simply presenting information.
Those skills now carry forward into my coaching, speaking, retreat, and transformational facilitation work.
I've pursued training in energy clearing, energy reading, emotion mapping, Superconscious work, and related transformational practices.
Completed the first year of Rhys Thomas Institute's three-year energy practitioner training program.
My Superconscious practice comes through a training lineage connected to the original methodology from which this work developed. I was trained by a practitioner who studied directly within that lineage.
Over time, I have integrated that training with my experience as a coach, strategist, facilitator, and practitioner to develop the client experience I now call Superconscious Sessions.
I don't use energetic work as an explanation for everything.
Sometimes the issue is intellectual. Sometimes it's strategic. Sometimes it's behavioral. Sometimes external circumstances, timing, systems, skills, resources, or another person's choices are significant factors.
And sometimes there may be something operating underneath conscious intention that is creating resistance or reducing internal congruence.
That's where this work allows us to investigate more deeply.
We're not doing inner work merely for the sake of inner work. We're developing internal conditions that support what you're actually trying to create.
It's a body of professional experience I've been developing for more than two decades.
Through Wonder Woman Marketing, I've worked across brand strategy, marketing strategy, positioning, communications, customer experience, content, digital marketing, expertise development, intellectual property, launches, and business growth.
Specialist certification and study across content marketing, email marketing, and customer value optimization.
But the strongest evidence of my marketing education isn't a certificate. It's the work.
I've spent decades applying marketing and business thinking to actual companies, organizations, experts, products, services, campaigns, programs, and ideas.
In branding, the question sounds like this. Who is this person really, and how do we bring what we discover out of abstraction and into something the market can encounter?
That work led to the creation of Personal Branding YOUniversity™, my proprietary platform for helping established experts translate experience and expertise into market-facing identity, intellectual property, offers, authority, and opportunity.
I am the author of YOU, The Brand™, a book about becoming known for what you know and building a personal brand rooted in the person and expertise already there.
My work has also produced proprietary concepts, frameworks, methodologies, programs, training, and intellectual property developed through years of client application.
I am the creator and host of the YOU, The Brand™ Podcast, where I explore expertise, identity, personal branding, authority, business, and the ideas that influence how we become known for what we know.
The podcast is part of a larger body of writing, speaking, teaching, and intellectual work that continues to grow alongside my client work.
I don't collapse them into one methodology.
Wonder Woman Marketing has its work. My coaching practice has its work. Superconscious Sessions have their own methodology. Retreats create a different kind of transformational environment.
But decades of working across these disciplines have given me multiple ways to look at the same challenge.
When something isn't moving, I don't automatically assume you need another strategy. I also don't automatically assume you need inner work.
I want to know what kind of problem we are actually solving.
Is it intellectual? There's something you need to understand.
Is it strategic? You need a better path from here to there.
Is it behavioral? Something needs to change in what you're actually doing.
Is it energetic? Something beneath conscious intention may be interfering with your ability to move congruently toward what you want.
Sometimes the answer is one of those. Sometimes several are operating together. The breadth of my background allows me to see more than one layer.
The tools have expanded considerably since I began my career. But the through-line has remained remarkably consistent.
Understand what's really happening.
Determine what the work actually requires.
Then help build what comes next.
Professional development is ongoing.
